Royal BDU acquires mostly all house-to-house newspapers from Telegraaf daughter Holland Media Combinatie (HMC). End of May 2017 agreement has been reached between the publisher/printer from Barneveld and the Telegraaf Media Groep (TMG). The works councel of TMG acclaimed the advice request.
The book/newspaper and commercial printer from Barneveld, founded in 1871, has developed over the years from the Royal BDU to a medium size media company. Apart from printing of media (BDU print) there is also the exploitation and supply of content to local, professional and public media (BDU Media).
Telegraaf Media Groep N.V. (TMG) is one of the largest Dutch media companies, with strong brands such as De Telegraaf, DFT, Telesport, Metro, Autovisie, Privé and via a strategic partnership with Talpa, the national radiostations Sky Radio, Radio Veronica, Radio 538 and Radio 10. Recently, Belgian based Mediahouse acquired TMG in a successful public bid.
